I believe it was a crisp 30-something degrees outside that day. All gray outside and, oh, and there was a nice wind blowing, too. Can we say COLD?! Of course that didn’t stop Jason & I from shooting outside. We’re crazy like that though. But you just can’t beat natural light. I’ll brave any weather for great (or even just better) light. Remember my GC shots taken in 15 degrees, snow & no winter clothes? For this session, we had several brave souls venture outside with us for some shots before heading back in to finish the session. And to them I want to say “Thank you guys!!!”

I love this first couple. They are great friends and always a blast to be around! And they always, always look great in pictures :) Notice how “brave” Mrs S is with no coat. So hardcore!

And then there was this cutey. She was a bit camera shy but nonetheless adorable in that cute outfit.

Spicer Family web 3I want to thank the family for allowing me to come over to capture these images for you! Thank you for braving the cold. You guys were great!

One last pic from our photo drive

While we were out on our photo drive, we pulled into the local Dairy Queen for some lunch. As we pull up to the drive thru, I hear Jason make some remark about a horse and buggy. I look over to where he’s pointing expecting there to be a joke involved….  and instead I see this guy leaving with his #3 DQ Combo meal.

That’s right folks, he literally hitched up ye olde horses & buggy to go grab some lunch at the Dairy Queen. What amazed me most was the permanent hitchin’ post that was right there between the DQ and the Aldi……. ummmm…… yeaaah…… cuz….  that’s just normal and supposed to be there, right??

Anyone else have a hitchin’ post outside their local DQ?

DSC_1882Sorry for the crappy picture, I was trying to be stealth with a wide angle…
