As I sit here at my desk, I’m wishing I had an outside office. It’s so stinkin’ gorgeous outside! Spring is finally here with the exception of a few odd cold days here and there. But this week we are actually supposed to hit 80 degrees! I can’t wait! Gives me an excuse to go looking for some cute new flip flops :) But I digress….

Meet Jason and Jennifer.

Jennifer contacted me wanting to get back in her wedding dress. You see, Jason had a broken foot on their wedding day, and they were not able to take a lot of pictures outside. So we met back at the same church where they were married over 2 years earlier and I think we made up for their lack of outside pics with all the walking we did!

I loved that Jason was game to put on a suit for this session!

It made the images look like they just got married all over again :)

Such a sweet couple! Thanks guys!

P.S. Football and fishing pics from this session soon to come :)

I’m going to go on and preface that this is not my typical session. Why? Because there were 24 people in this family! And 11 of them were kids. The grandmother called me a couple of weeks ago because all of her kids and grandkids were going to be in town at the same time. And she really wanted a group pic of the whole family!

While the main agenda was to get the group pic of all 24, Jason was still able to catch just a couple candids of some of the kids while I was trying to set up for the big group shot.

The buttercups were blooming everywhere! So most of the kids (and even an adult or two :)) had flowers in hand!

All 11 grandkids… with most of them are looking at the camera! :)

Today was an absolutely gorgeous day!! I just can’t get enough sunshine! And as a photographer, I am super happy that the warm, sunny days have returned.

This afternoon I met up with Miss C. You may remember this beautiful little girl from her previous session. Since I last saw her she has gotten a bit taller and definitely a lot cuter! A session with Miss C can be a full workout. (No complaints– I need all the exercise I can get!:)) This time around we did a little racing, a little jumping and even a little twirling! I loved it! Everytime I leave a session with her, I wonder what images I will find on my camera when I get home. This girl is FAST which means I have to shoot even FASTER! You snooze= you lose! Lucky for me, she usually stops long enough to admire her photo on my LCD after which I steal another shot :)

I promise her eyes are naturally this gorgeous! I did no editing to them!

I’m thinking she would make a beautiful model one day :)

Her dad’s gonna have a full time job just fighting off the boys!

She did sit long enough to smell a few flowers. Barely :)
